Dual Credit
University of Nevada, Reno Collegiate Academy
The Collegiate Academy program provides students with the opportunity to take college-level courses and earn credit from the comfort of their high school. The unique dual credit (also called concurrent enrollment) program implements college-level classes in the high school alongside the student's regular schedule of classes. Our exceptional University faculty work closely with the Collegiate Academy high school teachers to develop a rigorous college curriculum that fits within the high school setting.
Students must attend a participating Collegiate Academy high school to be eligible for enrollment, and enrollment in Collegiate Academy courses is open to high school students who are current juniors and seniors.

Truckee Meadows Community College Jump Start Program
Classes offered through TMCC's Jump Start Program might be used to receive credit from the college and at the high school level. The school district and, in some cases, the high school determines how TMCC courses are accepted for high school credit. Students are responsible for meeting with their high school counselor each semester to ensure the classes in which they are registered meet high school graduation requirements. Only high school students are eligible for dual credit.
- Disability Resource Center (DRC): The DRC can help you request reasonable accommodations and services to remove barriers to your access and make your College experience a successful one. Accommodations are not transferrable from high school to college. Students must contact the DRC to request accommodations.

Western Nevada College Jump Start Program
Western Nevada College works with local high schools to identify high achieving sophomore and junior students who have met grade requirements in Algebra II, are academically and socially mature, and interested in the opportunity to Jump Start their college career while still in high school. These students are then assessed to determine college-level English 101 readiness. Interested and eligible students and their parents will need to next attend a Parent Night informational event, and finally meet with WNC and high school counselors for final approval and course registration.
